You'll undertake systematic French language training while discovering the vibrant cultures and histories of Francophone regions through various modules covering literature, cinema, history, philosophy, politics, linguistics, and visual arts. Your third year includes international study in a French-speaking nation to deepen linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
Upon returning to Bristol for your final year, you can pursue an independent research project (either practical or written) and/or gain professional experience through creative industry placements.
Instruction occurs via multiple formats including lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops, and personalized project guidance. Evaluation methods encompass presentations, essays, critiques, examinations, group projects, debates, audio/video productions, and thesis work.
