Dementia has become an increasingly pressing issue worldwide. In the UK alone, over 800,000 individuals live with dementia, while globally this number reaches 44 million, presenting significant challenges for treatment and support systems.

Our Dementia Studies program is designed for healthcare providers and caregivers working with dementia patients.

This specialized course offers innovative educational approaches that empower medical professionals to enhance dementia care quality through advanced knowledge and practical skills. It delivers a thorough, integrated framework for comprehending dementia's complexities while examining its effects on both individuals and communities. The curriculum combines clinical expertise with training in healthcare communication, research methodologies, and leadership development.

Qualification Requirements

A degree and evidence of a capacity to study at Masters level with a substantial interest andor experience in an area of health or social care or Evidence of a capacity to study at Masters level and at least two years work experience in an environment related to dementia care including lived experience or Completion of at least three years basic medical science at a UK medical school having gained at least 360 credits with a guaranteed place to continue medical studies on completion of the MSc For international students a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 is required
