Our master's program in Strength and Conditioning is tailored for graduates with backgrounds in sports science, coaching, or related fields who aspire to advance their expertise and pursue careers in elite athletic performance.
This program aligns with the competencies needed to achieve UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach (ASCC) status, combining hands-on professional placement experience with essential coursework in performance training applications, rehabilitation science, and coaching effectiveness.
The University of Brighton boasts BASES-accredited sport and exercise labs, along with comprehensive on-campus fitness facilities that include a dedicated teaching and research gymnasium.
Program director Flo Pietzsch brings elite-level experience as a former strength coach for the Lawn Tennis Association and English Institute of Sport. As a UKSCA-accredited professional, he has contributed to the organization's coaching science curriculum development.
