Our MRes program in Stress, Ageing and Chronic Disease lets you enhance your research abilities alongside globally recognized experts engaged in cross-disciplinary studies. Our investigations explore how stress, inflammation, and biological ageing contribute to the development and advancement of conditions including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative and musculoskeletal diseases.
You'll join our Centre for Stress and Age-related Disease, concentrating on three primary research domains: chemical biology, cell biology, and translational science. Collaborating with postdoctoral fellows and fellow postgraduate researchers, you'll master the skills to plan and execute a significant research initiative. This project enables you to showcase your innovative thinking while appreciating the industrial applications of scientific inquiry.
