The Master of Arts in Social Work provides individuals holding an undergraduate degree with a professional qualification at the postgraduate level. This program prepares you to become a skilled, self-assured, and certified social work professional. We deliver a time-tested curriculum recognized nationally for developing exceptional practitioners. Our program is developed, overseen, and taught by a Program Management Board comprising field placement partners, current students, faculty members, and working professionals. This collaborative approach guarantees our curriculum remains innovative and forward-thinking in social work education, with a strong emphasis on addressing service users' requirements. The program foundation aligns with key social work training standards: the HCPC's Standards of Proficiency for social care professionals, the Department of Health's social work training mandates, the Professional Capabilities Framework from the College of Social Work, and the QAA's benchmark guidelines for social policy administration and social work practice.
