Our Occupational Therapy program provides an engaging, team-based educational approach within a warm and encouraging setting. You'll acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for a career as an Occupational Therapist. The curriculum covers: understanding occupational requirements for individuals and communities, professional techniques to overcome participation barriers, and methods to improve occupational performance. Occupational Therapists assist individuals in recovering from physical or psychological conditions, empowering them to achieve their maximum potential. You'll engage with clients of all ages across various healthcare environments, devising innovative approaches to everyday challenges. Through small class sizes, you'll be taught by seasoned Occupational Therapy practitioners, honing your abilities in authentic scenarios - utilizing our state-of-the-art simulation labs and completing varied clinical placements throughout all three years of study.

BBB from three full A levels. There are no specific subject requirements. General Studies is not accepted.

T levels

Merit - subject specific requirement in Health (must complete 'Supporting the Therapy Teams specialism), or Healthcare Science.

BTEC Extended Diploma

DDM in a relevant Health or Science subject.

Applicants on Access Programmes

122 UCAS tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Health Professions, Science or Social Science at least 12 credits in Biology/Psychology/Sociology must be at minimum grade Distinction.

International Baccalaureate requirements

120 UCAS tariff points from 3 HL subjects plus HL 3 or SL 4 in Maths.

Plus minimum of

GCSE English Language, Mathematics and Science or Combined Science at grade C or grade 4. Level 2 equivalences are accepted in place of GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
Minimum IELTS 6.5 with no subtest less than 6.0.
