The PGCEi is a 60-credit Master's level professional development course designed for educators looking to enhance their skills. This program allows participants to cultivate specialized knowledge tailored to their specific educational environment. Spanning one year of part-time study, the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) combines weekly in-person campus sessions with various blended and online learning components. Participants will examine core educational topics such as curriculum design, teaching methods, evaluation techniques, and learning theories through the lens of current and developing research. The program also integrates key themes including sustainability in education, equity in learning environments, technology-enhanced teaching approaches, and global curriculum development within its world-renowned framework. By engaging in reflective practice and collaborative discussions about worldwide educational viewpoints, the PGCEi concludes with participants conducting their own action research initiative.

Qualification Requirements
All applicants must have:
A degree (equivalent to a UK Bachelors Degree of at least 2:2 or above) or a recognised equivalent qualification and this will be a condition of any offer where the degree has not already been awarded.
Personal Statement (minimum 500 - 700 words) on your motivation and commitment in pursuing this programme of study
A position of employment within an educational setting in the UAE for the duration of the PGCEi programme
Two references. Preferably one academic (previous university tutor for example) and one professional that confirms your current role in an educational setting, evidencing your motivation and commitment to undertake further study.
If English is not your first language you may need to demonstrate proficiency in English through the completion of an academic level IELTS or equivalent. You should achieve a score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in each of the four areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking.
TOEFL - 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing
