This Master of Science program is designed for biomedical and life science professionals seeking to develop in-depth expertise and essential skills in the molecular and cellular mechanisms governing immunity and its therapeutic applications. The curriculum is taught by leading immunology and immunotherapy researchers, all heading internationally recognized teams. Participants will receive full funding to attend either the British Society of Immunology Annual Congress or the BSI Immunology Winter School.
Recent years have witnessed groundbreaking progress in deciphering the molecular and cellular regulation of immune responses. These insights are now driving the development of immunotherapeutic approaches for various conditions, including malignancies, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory diseases.
The program features interconnected modules examining immune cell differentiation, autoimmune processes, transplantation and cancer immunology, and inflammatory mechanisms. Students will also explore cutting-edge immunotherapy advancements, including microbial-based immunomodulation, vaccine development, pharmaceutical agents, and cell-based treatments.
