The MRes in Exercise and Sport Sciences integrates both instructional and research components, preparing you with scientific knowledge and hands-on abilities to tackle modern challenges in sports, physical activity, and rehabilitation.
This dual-focused master's program delivers research-focused education covering practical, theoretical, and applied aspects of Exercise and Sport Sciences.
Elective modules form the instructional portion, providing education and practical exposure to fundamental areas of exercise, health, and sports. Research opportunities are available in either academic or industry settings related to exercise, health, or sports science.

The program is jointly administered by the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, in partnership with the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine and the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham Medical School.
