The Marketing PhD/MPhil/MSc (research) program combines a brief instructional period with an extended research component. The coursework modules help expand and refine your research methodology expertise while you conduct independent studies and cultivate valuable professional competencies.
Graduates will master diverse analytical techniques for both qualitative and quantitative data, while understanding the theoretical foundations of various social science research approaches. Students are encouraged to fully engage with the Department of Marketing and Business School community by attending departmental and school-wide seminars, which introduces them to perspectives beyond their specialization. Active involvement in PhD workshops and conferences hosted by the university and external organizations is also expected.
Upon completion, doctoral candidates will possess advanced problem-solving skills for business and marketing challenges, capable of translating research findings into practical recommendations for various stakeholders. They'll develop expertise in evaluating scholarly work and contributing original research that pushes the boundaries of marketing knowledge.
