This flexible, interdisciplinary public health program offers academic preparation for professionals currently in or aspiring to enter the public health sector.
The curriculum addresses key areas of population health and core public health disciplines: epidemiology, applied health research methodologies and statistics, health economics, health data and informatics, public healthcare and health system administration, health promotion and disease prevention, and international health. While ideal for clinicians and public health practitioners, the program also benefits individuals engaged in (or considering) healthcare planning, commissioning roles, and life sciences sectors where population health knowledge and research skills are prized. The modular structure enables customization to individual career goals. Additionally, the program addresses competencies required for the Faculty of Public Health's Part A examination.
