The MA and PGDip offer flexible full-time or part-time options, while the PGCert is exclusively full-time. The MA spans 12 months full-time; the PGDip completes in 8 months full-time, and the PGCert concludes in 4 months full-time. Key features

A postgraduate degree in History and Politics from Birmingham equips you with versatile skills applicable to various professions. These competencies include information synthesis, exceptional communication abilities, and critical analysis techniques.
2:1 Honours degree in a relevant subject. You will need an Honours degree, normally in any humanities or social science discipline such as History, Politics, International Relations, Cultural Studies, or Literature, and normally of an upper second-class standard. Relevant equivalent study or professional experience can also be considered for entry, for the MA, PGDip, and PGCert. For this course we require IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band, which is equivalent to: TOEFL: 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 Listening, 22 Speaking and 21 in Writing.
