The Doctorate in Applied Educational and Child Psychology (App Ed and Child Psy D) combines academic research with professional preparation, qualifying graduates to register as educational psychologist practitioners with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Qualification Requirements

Applicants for postgraduate research programmes should hold a Bachelors degree and will usually be required to have completed a Masters degree, with a 60% or higher for 2:1 equivalency from a recognised institution to be considered for entry. Applicants with lower grades than this may be considered on an individual basis.
