Our transformative Physical Sciences Foundation Year serves as an integrated preparatory program, opening doors to our prestigious physical sciences undergraduate degrees. This course is ideal if you lack the qualifications for direct first-year admission.
Successful completion of the Physical Sciences Foundation Year can pave the way for Bachelor's degrees in computer science, mathematics, nuclear science, and physics (excluding theoretical physics or theoretical physics with applied mathematics).
After finishing the program and meeting subject-specific requirements, you'll seamlessly transition into your selected first-year degree program.
This multidisciplinary foundation year delivers a comprehensive curriculum, establishing fundamental knowledge across science, engineering, and mathematics. Since mathematics is crucial for success in Engineering and Physical Sciences, we prioritize it throughout the Foundation Year. The competencies you develop will ensure you begin your first year with the same mathematical foundation as students who completed A level Mathematics.
