Our transformative Physical Sciences Foundation Year serves as an integrated preparatory program, opening doors to our prestigious physical sciences undergraduate degrees. This course is ideal if you lack the required qualifications for direct first-year admission.
Successful completion of the Physical Sciences Foundation Year can pave the way for Bachelor's degrees in computer science, mathematics, nuclear science, and physics (excluding theoretical physics or theoretical physics with applied mathematics).
Upon meeting the progression requirements, you'll seamlessly transition into your selected first-year degree program.
This multidisciplinary foundation year delivers a comprehensive curriculum, establishing fundamental knowledge across science, engineering, and mathematics. Since mathematical proficiency is crucial for success in Engineering and Physical Sciences, we prioritize this subject throughout the Foundation Year. The competencies you develop will ensure you're equally prepared as students with A-level Mathematics when entering your first year.
