Grow into a creative, forward-thinking educator who specializes in teaching young children (ages 3-7) in primary schools, while earning Qualified Teacher Status. This program provides the same advantages as our Primary Education course but concentrates on early childhood development. You'll gain hands-on experience through specialized placements in Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, learning from seasoned educators. The curriculum includes subject-focused workshops, lectures, and seminars that cover teaching fundamentals, the National Curriculum, and practical skills like lesson preparation and evaluation. Upon graduation, you'll obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), qualifying you to teach in early years or primary education settings.

Qualification Requirements
Normally a 2:2 honours degree or equivalent in the subject for which you are applying to teach or a degree of which at least 50% is in that subject. A levels in the subject and/or related subjects are desirable
A standard equivalent to a grade 4 (or GCSE A to C) in the GCSE examinations in English and mathematics. To have IELTS with an average score of at least 6.0 if your first language is not English and you do not have GCSE grade C in English. Meet all safeguarding requirements including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check, Fitness to Practice, Suitability to Train to Teach, and all other safeguarding checks required at the time of application. IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element; TOEFL iBT - Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
