The Technology and Information Systems module enhances your grasp of business systems, their essential features, and their impact on organizational performance. You'll examine information systems' role in strategy development, data analysis, and other key business areas.Assessment methodsThe concepts and skills gained during four intensive teaching blocks, along with crucial transferable abilities, culminate in your final master's capstone project. At this stage, students select from three options: Business Dissertation, Business Live Project, or Professional Practice. Each requires producing an independent research piece (either dissertation or business report).Students must formulate research questions, review literature, develop methodologies, conduct analyses, present findings, and make recommendations. All capstone options are assessed equally against the same learning outcomes. This final project strengthens students' capacity for independent work while demonstrating the creativity and autonomy expected of postgraduate degree holders in professional settings.Career prospectsGraduates gain skills applicable to various sectors including: information systems; IT; management information; financial services; consulting; hospitality; and electronics.This program also serves as excellent preparation for advanced academic research at MPhil or PhD level.
Students need 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in a related subject area. IELTS overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each element, TOEFL iBT - Listening: 17, Reading: 18, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
