The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) forecasts that the UK will require an additional 6,700 physiotherapy professionals by 2025, driven by rising demand from an aging population and more individuals managing chronic health conditions. Our CSP-approved program equips you with essential competencies to thrive in this growing healthcare sector.
This program prepares you to practice as a qualified physiotherapist, working in partnership with NHS teams and collaborating with other exercise specialists and musculoskeletal practitioners outside the NHS framework. You'll develop fundamental abilities to evaluate patient conditions - whether resulting from injuries, medical issues, or age-related factors - and design tailored treatment programs incorporating therapeutic exercises and physical interventions.
Our research-informed teaching approach combines lectures, small-group seminars, hands-on tutorials, and practical sessions. The curriculum features interactive learning through discussions, student presentations, specialized workshops, and valuable clinical placement experiences.
The program holds accreditation from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and meets all curriculum standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
