Combining the growing disciplines of forensic science and criminology, this program equips you with laboratory techniques and hands-on crime scene investigation skills alongside a sociological study of criminal motivations and the justice system's role in crime prevention.
Our curriculum establishes core knowledge in the biological and chemical principles relevant to forensics while examining criminological concepts, crime scene analysis, and forensic officer responsibilities. Through criminology modules, you'll learn to interpret data to recognize and forecast crime-influencing factors. The course also investigates how forensic science, law enforcement, and legal institutions contribute to deterring and addressing criminal activity.
