Alongside developing practical broadcasting and journalism abilities, the curriculum provides foundational knowledge in media theory and history, deep insights into radio operations, and expertise in crafting compelling content. Graduates emerge as skilled professionals prepared for careers in broadcasting or the broader audio production industry.
The program combines various modules to deliver comprehensive professional training, covering Radio Skills, Reporting and Writing, Media Literacy, and Audio Workplace Preparation. Students can focus their studies through elective modules in later years.
During the course, students gain hands-on experience through Radio LaB, the university's community radio station, with opportunities in hosting, production, and event coordination.
