Radio remains immensely popular today, having adapted dynamically to digital advancements. This program unlocks diverse career paths for graduates in traditional radio broadcasting as well as digital audio production for podcasts and online platforms.
Alongside developing practical broadcasting and journalism competencies, the curriculum provides foundational knowledge in media theory, historical context, industry operations, and content creation excellence. Graduates emerge as skilled professionals equipped for careers in broadcast media or broader audio production fields.
The program combines core modules covering essential professional competencies like Radio Techniques, News Reporting, Media Literacy, and Audio Industry Preparation. Students can tailor their studies through elective modules in later years.
All students gain hands-on experience through Radio LaB, the University's community radio station, with opportunities in presenting, production, marketing, and event coordination throughout their studies.
