Through this DfE-approved qualification, you'll gain experience via instructional sessions and supervised teaching practice, applying theoretical concepts in child development and educational methods.
During placements, mentors and university advisors assist as you cultivate fundamental teaching competencies for 5-11 year olds. Beginning with individual and small-group instruction, you'll progress to full-class teaching. A placement coordinator offers orientation sessions, support meetings, advice, and manages goal establishment and CEDP documentation.
