The MA Visual Effects (VFX) program is a hands-on course designed to enhance your digital skills in computing, animation, lighting, and post-production. This program concludes with a team-based final project, equipping you for diverse roles in the visual effects sector. Offered at London College of Communication, this MA treats VFX as a specialized discipline within the expansive field of animated visual media.
Students examine both theoretical frameworks and historical influences that shape audience perceptions of realism in visual media. The curriculum covers diverse technical and creative methodologies for VFX animation.
Through practical assignments, you'll work with various VFX technologies to create short animations. Hands-on workshops in studio lighting and camera techniques establish fundamental skills for creating convincing digital 3D visual effects.
