The MA Journalism: Arts and Lifestyle Journalism program helps you examine creative fields and mainstream culture across domains like visual arts, culinary arts, apparel trends, musical expressions, photographic arts, cinematic works, and global exploration. You'll develop skills for crafting narratives about cultural shifts that mirror our lifestyles, careers, and self-perceptions.

This multimedia journalism MA program emphasizes industry relevance while helping you build comprehensive cross-platform reporting abilities.

You'll investigate journalistic approaches to creative fields and contemporary culture spanning visual arts, gastronomy, style trends, musical genres, photographic techniques, motion pictures, and international destinations.

You'll acquire techniques for documenting societal transformations that reveal our daily experiences, professional environments, and personal identities.

Professional engagement and prospects
You'll collaborate on initiatives with media partners, leveraging our strong connections with outlets including The Guardian, Vice, Dazed, and Women in Journalism. The program also offers mentorship in independent journalism and business development, along with learning opportunities from visiting professionals across print media, periodicals, broadcasting networks, and digital platforms.

In order to be considered you would have achieved an Honours degree preferably a 21 or equivalent professional qualifications with a minimum of three years relevant professional experience
