The MA Fine Art: Photography program at Camberwell College of Arts explores photography both as a widespread medium and as a technical and material framework. We view photography not just as documentation of history, but as an investigative and questioning practice that shapes what's to come. This program empowers and pushes you to evolve your artistic practice through discussions, presentations, and innovative workshops. You'll have chances to exhibit and experiment with fresh approaches to photographic creation and related disciplines. The curriculum fosters a broad, inclusive approach to photographic art, with a strong focus on engagement with climate, racial, social, and economic justice issues.
Professional development and prospects
You'll enhance abilities in creative direction, analytical thinking, teamwork, adaptability, and effective communication. The program also teaches how to maintain exploratory research methods - a crucial capability across all career paths.
Numerous opportunities exist to present your work, including curating and taking part in public exhibitions and events. Through specialized talks and workshops, you'll clarify where you want to make your mark in the art world after completing your studies.
