The MA in Culture, Criticism and Curation offers a platform for examining both past and present cultural landscapes through analytical writing and exhibition practices. This program focuses on fostering critical thinking and purposeful innovation within cultural sectors, artistic fields, design disciplines, and creative industries. By blending cultural studies with curatorial methodologies, the curriculum provides historical context while developing practical abilities in research, writing, exhibition design, and project realization.
This program tackles current challenges confronting cultural professionals, including curators, artists, policymakers, and scholars. Using cross-disciplinary and multicultural approaches, students navigate the intersections where theoretical concepts merge with practical applications to generate fresh insights. With an activist perspective, we investigate how cultural analysis and exhibition practices can drive transformation through progressive, incremental initiatives.
