The BA Product and Furniture Design program at Chelsea College of Arts enables students to examine our relationships with objects through social, physical, and emotional lenses. This degree emphasizes hands-on creation as the core of design practice, fostering both technical abilities and analytical thinking about objects.

Students can participate in the Diploma in Professional Studies program, gaining work experience with notable institutions and designers like The Natural History Museum, McCollin Bryan, Richard Fox, Studio Swine, and Tatty Devine.

The curriculum includes an international exchange opportunity during the second year, allowing students to spend a term studying overseas.

The standard minimum entry requirements for this course are

Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Level 3 or 4
2 A Levels at grade C or above
Merit Pass Pass MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma
Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
Access to Higher Education Diploma
Or equivalent EUInternational qualifications such as International Baccalaureate Diploma at 24 points minimum
And 3 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above grade AC
Entry to this course will also be determined by the quality of your application looking primarily at your portfolio of work personal statement and reference

IELTS level 6.0 or above, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking

TOEFL IBT - valid for 2 years - Score Required - 80 - Listening - 17, Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Speaking - 20.
