The BA Fine Art Painting program at Camberwell College of Arts challenges you to investigate the boundaries of the medium. You'll be encouraged to discover innovative approaches to its ongoing evolution while examining its relationship with societal, cultural, and political transformations. As a fundamental artistic discipline, painting maintains an infinite potential for creative exploration and fresh interpretations. Through hands-on learning, you'll test both conventional and contemporary painting methods. Driven by your personal creative inquiry, you'll produce works that offer novel viewpoints on contemporary society.
Working alongside peers in Camberwell's broader BA Fine Art curriculum, you'll engage with complementary fields such as sculpture, photography, illustration, and digital arts. This collaborative environment will help broaden your artistic capabilities and cultivate a multidisciplinary approach to fine art.

The standard minimum entry requirements for this course are one or a combination of the following qualifications
Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Level 3 or 4
2 A Levels at grade C or above
Merit Pass Pass MPP at BTEC Extended Diploma
Pass at UAL Extended Diploma
Access to Higher Education Diploma
Or equivalent EUInternational qualifications such as International Baccalaureate Diploma at 24 points minimum
And 3 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above grade AC
Entry to this course will also be determined by the quality of your application looking primarily at your portfolio of work personal statement and reference
IELTS level 6.0 or above, with at least 5.5 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
TOEFL IBT - valid for 2 years - Score Required - 80 - Listening - 17, Reading - 18, Writing - 17, Speaking - 20.
