The BA Fashion Design program features five specializations: Menswear, Womenswear, Print, Knitwear, and Communication. Each concentration provides a distinctive blend of design, historical research, and theoretical learning guided by industry-experienced tutors. The Knitwear specialization accommodates diverse creative methods within this expanding field. The UK maintains global recognition for knitwear design excellence, stemming from our historic role in wool commerce and textile machinery innovation. Recently, this domain has evolved from classic craftsmanship to include contemporary fashion, jersey garment construction, stretch fabrics, and intimate apparel.
