A scholarly program designed for astute analysts to examine fashion through social, cultural, political, historical, and global lenses. We critically examine historical methodologies while investigating how colonial influence intersects with the transfer and exploitation of human labor and natural resources that fuel the fashion industry's transformation.

The BA Fashion Communication: Histories and Theories program cultivates students into creative, knowledgeable, and ethical professionals—shaping the next generation of researchers, writers, analysts, and communicators vital to fashion's evolution. This pathway belongs to the broader Fashion curriculum. Ideal for those fascinated by fashion media's dynamic landscape, this degree prepares students to meet the industry's growing demand for skilled content creators versed in visual storytelling, critical writing, and fashion historiography. The program develops visionary, well-informed, and conscientious content producers and strategists who will drive the sector forward.

The BA Fashion Communication degree presents three specialized tracks: Image and Promotion, Histories and Theories, and Journalism. While all concentrations focus on fashion messaging, each delivers a distinct blend of industry insight, communication techniques, and theoretical foundations. The Histories and Theories specialization deepens comprehension of Western fashion's development since the Renaissance while equipping students with analytical frameworks to interpret this legacy.
