This program merges the expertise of the School of Social Science and the Business School to examine the connections among finance, governance, and influence, along with how international financial systems interact with policy formation across borders.
The curriculum prepares professionals for roles in global finance or governmental/non-governmental organizations (NGOs), where insights into worldwide monetary movements, commerce, labor dynamics, and resulting wealth distribution are essential.
In recent years, financial globalization has led to a significant rise in cross-border capital flows. Concurrently, we've observed profound shifts in societal structures, political landscapes, state interactions, technological progress, and financial sector innovations.
Consequently, organizations, policymakers, and financial stakeholders increasingly require knowledge about how political dynamics and global markets interrelate. By integrating core principles of international political economy with corporate finance and investment strategies, this Master's program meets this demand. It equips students with advanced analytical skills to assess and interpret financial-political interactions, while teaching how to articulate the intersections between global banking, stock markets, and geopolitical developments.
