You'll develop fluency in this global language used by 350 million native speakers across 19 Latin American countries, the Iberian Peninsula, and increasingly throughout the United States.
A key component of your four-year degree includes spending half of your third year abroad, either as a teaching assistant or exchange student in a Spanish-speaking nation, to refine your language skills. The curriculum also covers historical, anthropological, literary, and cultural materials from Spain and Latin America, including films and visual arts.
Through Theology & Religious Studies, you'll acquire comprehensive knowledge about world religions, their historical evolution, and modern relevance, with particular emphasis on Christian beliefs, practices, and teachings across different historical periods and contemporary situations.
