Proficiency in languages continues to be a significant advantage.At Aberdeen, you can start German from scratch or advance existing skills, with both pathways leading to either a standalone German MA Honours degree or a combined MA Honours degree with numerous subject combinations.
German studies at Aberdeen offer comprehensive language training. Our faculty includes native speakers from Germany and Austria who will immerse you in German-speaking cultures. You'll explore German creative works through literature, cinema, and visual arts while developing insights into Germany's intricate historical background.
This five-year program includes a semester abroad in a German-speaking nation for academic study.
