For a century, we've been instructing in Scottish Gaelic (Gidhlig) and its rich culture, guided by dedicated educators and scholars whose research actively shapes national efforts to preserve and promote Gaelic in modern Scotland.
You'll deepen your understanding of Scotland's ancient living language while honing your Gaelic abilities in a welcoming setting, with chances to connect with Gaelic enthusiasts across northern Scotland through various clubs, events, and organizations. Our German program boasts an exceptional reputation, achieving top marks in the most recent national Teaching Quality Assessment.
Taught by native German and Austrian instructors, you'll enhance your language proficiency while examining the social, historical, and cultural dimensions of German-speaking nations. You'll engage with German creative works spanning literature, cinema, and visual arts, while gaining insight into Germany's intricate past. Additional opportunities to practice your growing language skills come through our active German Society and Drama Group.
