This field helps us comprehend fundamental biological processes like development, growth, and aging by examining cellular molecular mechanisms, while also revealing how these systems malfunction in diseases. Genetic principles also enable advancements in agricultural and animal breeding.
This program seeks to establish comprehensive knowledge of genetics across molecular, cellular, and whole-organism scales. Students will develop specialized expertise in specific genetic areas aligned with the School's research focus, while learning about the diverse practical applications of this discipline.
