Biomedical Science primarily aims to deepen our comprehension of how the human body functions in both healthy and diseased states. During the initial two years of your studies, you'll develop a wide-ranging understanding of medical science topics and scientific research techniques. You'll also sharpen your critical thinking skills and improve your teamwork and communication abilities through collaborative projects and presentations.
The program's third and fourth years focus on mastering molecular biology concepts. This field has transformed biological research in recent decades, highlighted by the sequencing of the entire human genome. Molecular biology now plays a pivotal role in exploring the genetic foundations of diseases, studying pathological processes, and advancing agricultural improvements through enhanced crop development.
