Our program begins with core studies in animal, plant, and marine biology before allowing you to focus on your preferred specialties. You'll have access to diverse biological science courses, with popular specialization areas including conservation ecology, disease biology, physiology, animal behavior, and evolutionary studies.
This Royal Society of Biology-accredited Biology degree delivers comprehensive knowledge about living organisms, covering everything from molecular and cellular levels to entire ecosystems and biomes. Most importantly, the curriculum enables you to concentrate on your specific interests within the life sciences, offering remarkable flexibility in subject selection.
Throughout your studies, you'll conduct laboratory experiments, examine organisms in natural habitats, and utilize specialized software for data analysis. The program includes opportunities to undertake independent research projects, with some undergraduate work even being published.
