The Psychology Research Institute provides guidance for doctoral research culminating in a PhD, available through full-time (3-year) or part-time (6-year) study options. Doctoral candidates conduct autonomous, innovative investigations under the mentorship of experienced supervisors. Each PhD candidate joins an established research team focused on significant theoretical and applied questions to enhance their academic growth. Students can interact with peers, faculty, and scholars through structured seminars and casual conversations. We facilitate skill development and professional networking by enabling collaborations with academics at domestic and global institutions, research hubs, and related organizations. Our program offers comprehensive training via the Researcher Development Programme, strengthening expertise in theoretical frameworks, advanced methodologies, and career preparation. Doctoral students may participate in teaching activities and pursue credentials for Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy. A student-led PhD committee advocates for an exceptional research experience. We foster an empowering, diverse academic community where PhD candidates can flourish. Currently, more than 60 doctoral researchers receive supervision from our institute's faculty.
