The Master in Architecture program is structured as an interconnected sequence of studio projects and complementary studies, guiding students toward their final year design thesis. These projects operate within a Vertical Studio framework spanning two semesters, also referred to as the SuperStudio. The Vertical Studio model brings together students from all year groups in thematically distinct studios, creating a cross-cohort environment that mirrors the real-world dynamics, opportunities, and challenges of architectural practice. The MArch program examines architectural responses to the evolving complexities of urban environments and societal transformations. Our diverse faculty—comprising academics, historians, practitioners, consultants, artists, and researchers—is dedicated to analyzing existing built environments while envisioning innovative, sustainable futures for both urban and rural settings. A key focus involves tackling broader professional challenges and creating a platform to question assumptions, investigate possibilities, and redefine the architect's societal role.
