Ulster's Podiatry program boasts a 100% graduate employment rate within three months. This course is designed for individuals seeking professional podiatry qualifications, a strong base for postgraduate studies, or progression into Podiatric Surgery training. Our three-year, full-time BSc Hons Podiatry program awards an honors degree, enabling graduates to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and join the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod). These credentials permit practice within UK healthcare systems, private sectors, or international opportunities in nations including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia.
Podiatry is an evidence-based medical field dedicated to preserving and improving foot health. As future practitioners, students learn to evaluate, diagnose, and manage lower limb and foot conditions while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care. Hands-on training occurs through our campus clinic and NHS placements, developing essential clinical competencies. Our teaching approach treats students as mature learners, emerging professionals, and future colleagues. The supportive academic environment fosters confidence in meeting course demands, with staff maintaining respectful, collegial relationships throughout both classroom instruction and clinical placements.
