The BEng Hons Electrical and Electronic Engineering program equips you with the skills to pursue a career as a professional electrical engineer, focusing on electrical systems and products from initial concept to final implementation. Your responsibilities will encompass managing power distribution for electrical networks, along with collecting and processing operational data.

This qualification opens doors to diverse sectors such as energy production and management, transport networks, information technology, industrial production, building services, and communication systems.

While many electrical engineers specialize in major power distribution networks that transmit electricity across regions, the field also encompasses emerging technologies ranging from domestic electrical devices and building illumination systems to large-scale power plants and space-based communication networks.

This program incorporates a mandatory industry placement in the third year, providing hands-on experience that results in exceptionally well-prepared graduates.
