Combining Music studies with Education offers a strong foundation for a career in the education field. This program introduces key principles of educational theory and practice, both locally in Northern Ireland and across the UK, as well as internationally. Students will enroll in two Music modules and one Education module each semester. By blending these two disciplines, the course cultivates versatile graduate attributes, equipping you with adaptable skills for further education and professional pursuits. Learning occurs through various methods including lectures, hands-on sessions, guided readings, case studies, fieldwork, seminars, tutorials, and data analysis. Module evaluations incorporate coursework, exams, or a combination of both, with specific assessment approaches detailed in module guides. These may involve essays, literature reviews, presentations, written seminar summaries, tests, research projects, dissertations, or examinations.
