The BA Hons Fine Art program provides hands-on learning in painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, performance, digital media, and art history. This comprehensive course covers diverse contemporary art forms such as Painting, Video, Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Performance, Printmaking, Time-based media, and theoretical studies. Instruction combines studio work with online learning, focusing on practical skills, philosophical approaches, contextual awareness, and professional development. Studio Practice forms the core, where students cultivate their artistic voice through guided tutorials and group critiques that foster idea exchange and critical thinking. Dedicated studio spaces connect directly to specialized workshops.

Workshops offer training in painting techniques, printmaking, wood/metal work, casting, audiovisual production, photography, and plastic arts. Studio projects encompass site-specific installations, public interventions, digital creations, social practice works, alongside traditional art forms. History and Theory components deepen understanding of artistic movements and current debates, while developing academic writing and analytical skills. The University boasts Northern Ireland's most extensive art library, featuring art history texts, critical theory publications, exhibition catalogs, periodicals, artist films, documentaries, and a distinctive collection of artists' books.
