The program also covers assessing health requirements, safeguarding children and families in health visiting scenarios, and prescribing from the community practitioners' formulary.
This course balances theory and practice equally (50% each). Securing a clinical placement requires a formal agreement with a health trust, local authority, or employer. Your sponsoring organization assigns a practice assessor to guide your hands-on learning and evaluate your competency.
You'll examine research methodologies to grasp the evidence supporting professional practice. Practical experiences help bridge theory with real-world application. Collaborative learning with students from diverse backgrounds and postgraduate programs fosters fresh insights and innovative thinking.
