Artificial intelligence (AI) allows digital systems or robots to acquire knowledge, solve problems, interpret information, and execute functions typically requiring human intelligence. AI is utilized across various fields such as gaming platforms, healthcare diagnostics, search engine algorithms, and speech or text interpretation technologies.
Students develop both technical abilities and analytical competencies for implementing AI solutions to practical challenges, while mastering core principles of digital transformation software, practical machine learning applications, large-scale data analysis, business analytics, neural networks, and their implementations. The curriculum examines the ethical considerations, security aspects, societal impacts, and professional responsibilities surrounding emerging AI advancements, while equipping learners with versatile skills for career advancement.
Building upon diverse undergraduate backgrounds, participants acquire cutting-edge competencies, robust coding proficiency, research capabilities, and optional professional exposure to enter this rapidly growing sector. Students collaborate with our specialized AI and Machine Learning research teams, with potential internship opportunities. Three program pathways are available:
Standard one-year full-time - ideal for obtaining a conventional MSc degree.
Extended two-year full-time (with Advanced Practice) - augments the standard program with either vocational training or research-focused internship experience. This pathway offers valuable professional exposure to strengthen career prospects. Research internships enable participants to refine analytical, collaborative, investigative, and academic abilities by joining academic research teams. While research placements are guaranteed, vocational internships require independent securing, though comprehensive guidance and resources are provided for obtaining professional positions.
