You'll cultivate essential transferable abilities like high-level presentation techniques while exploring innovative approaches to communicate ideas and data.
This course enhances your prototyping capabilities and game design expertise to ready you for the gaming sector. You'll acquire specialized skills for intricate mission planning and execution, along with crafting sophisticated gameplay sequences and professional design documentation. The program teaches you to address challenging game development situations and employ advanced project management methods, maintaining professional standards throughout all project phases from conception to completion. You'll explore advanced game optimization concepts and produce a prototype aligned with professional design positions.
The concluding term focuses on your master's project - a substantial 60-credit module where you'll create an ambitious research-based initiative. This component showcases the advanced competencies you've developed throughout the program. The MA Games Design offers three study pathways:
full-time - 2 years with enhanced practical experience (September and January intake)
full-time - 1 year (September start) or 16 months (January start)
part-time - 2 years.
