This BSc (Hons) Forensic Science program at Teesside University offers a multidisciplinary approach. Beyond developing expertise in modern forensic analysis techniques, the course provides foundational training in investigative procedures - from evidence collection to courtroom presentation. Consider criminal investigations: trace evidence like glass fragments, paint chips, fibers, shoe prints, or DNA from bodily fluids can establish connections between individuals or crime scenes. The real challenge lies in selecting which samples to analyze and determining the most effective methods for extracting evidentiary value through examination and interpretation.
