Mechanical engineers create and build all types of moving systems, ranging from vehicle gearboxes to artificial limbs, power generators, renewable energy systems, automated machines, and industrial equipment.
You'll develop expertise in key mechanical engineering areas such as structural mechanics, motion dynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, material science, digital modeling, CAD systems, electrical fundamentals, structural simulation, production methods, product design, and manufacturing process modeling.
