The Research Masters in Future Interaction Technologies challenges you to not just create new software and hardware, but to critically examine how these technologies can be enhanced and utilized. This program is directed by the Future Interaction Technology (FIT) Lab, housed in the Computer Science department. FIT Lab's purpose is to investigate and implement cutting-edge computer science to make interactive technologies reliable, engaging, and efficient. Interactive technologies encompass mobile devices, web platforms, implants, smart TVs, kitchen appliances, ticketing systems, navigation tools, and numerous other innovations. Our focus includes tackling major societal issues like healthcare security and developing universally accessible technology to promote more efficient and sustainable living. While ideal for pursuing academic research, this program also equips students with the expertise to translate research into real-world industrial applications.
