The Electronic Systems Design Centre (ESDC) has gained recognition for its pioneering work in Power IC technology, a critical innovation for enhancing energy efficiency in electronics. Additionally, the Centre leads globally in semiconductor device modeling, including FEM and compact modeling. As part of ESDC, the Nanoelectronic Devices Computational Group has undertaken notable projects such as: Parallel 3D Finite Element Monte Carlo Simulations for Multigate Transistors, Modeling Metal-Semiconductor Contacts for Next-Gen Nanoscale Transistors, and Developing Novel GaN HEMT Switches for Power Management, focusing on design, optimization, and reliability.
